Lameck Banda weds

CHIPOLOPOLO striker Lameck Banda has tied the knot with Abigail Kafula Chato in a ceremony attended by family, friends and notable figures from the football fraternity.

Speaking during the wedding reception, former Football Association of Zambia general secretary Adrian Kashala reflected on Banda’s journey from a young aspiring footballer to one of the country’s most recognisable players on the international stage.

Meanwhile, Kashala meanwhile encouraged the couple to approach marriage as a partnership built on love, communication and mutual support.

He advised them to always remember that they are now one team and should face life’s challenges together rather than against each other.

Kashala also urged the couple to remain grounded and supportive of their families, saying many people look up to them and will draw inspiration from the way they conduct their lives.

 Banda plays professional football in Italy and is a key member of the Chipolopolo national team.
