Gary Nkombo a cry baby – HH

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has characterized Garry Nkombo as a crybaby who has been in Parliament for the last 20 years but has continued demanding that he should remain in the House despite having achieved nothing.

But Mr Nkombo has denied President Hichilema’s accusations that he is working with NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu, stating that the accusations were unfounded, lack facts and only meant to malign him.

Responding to the President’s accusations, Mr Nkombo said he would not engage in a tag of word with the head of State because most of the President said was abusive and lacking truth, stating that he was in fact a victim of intimidation and beatings during the Patriotic Front (PF) administration in support of President Hichilema.

“There is someone who has been in Parliament for 20 years but still wants to hang to on. He entered Parliament 20 years ago, a child was born, and that child is also a mother but we have someone who wants continue being in Parliament. Are you the only one?” President Hichilema said in reference to Mr Nkombo.

And President Hichilema has accused Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu of being among the people who were beating Zambians coming from Southern Province because of their political affiliation.

Meanwhile, President Hichilema has accused all independent candidates in Southern Province of working with the Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu, the two Tonse Pamodzi Alliance presidential candidate and running mate respectively.

“All the independent candidates in Southern Province are working with the two boys in Lusaka. Those two boys used to beat us, and they will come to beat you too. Do not entertain any opposition here,” President Hichilema said yesterday.

President Hichilema says Mr Mundubile and Mr Zulu should not be seeking public office by attempting to mislead voters in Southern Province, particularly in Siavonga because they were allegedly part of the people who tribally harassed Tongas each time they arrived in Lusaka.

According to President Hichilema, the Tonse Pamodzi Alliance leaders were among those who suppressed citizens’ freedoms in the past and should not be entrusted with the country’s leadership again.

Addressing a campaign rally in Siavonga, President Hichilema urged residents to reject what he described as politicians with a history of intolerance towards opposing views.
