BRIAN Mundubile says he is ready for change

BRIAN Mundubile says he is ready for change just like his running mate Makebi Zulu.

Mr Mundubile and Mr Zulu who are both lawyers said free speech will once again be introduced.

“Ba (Mr) Chifumu Banda, myself and Makebi are lawyers. We respect free speech and freedoms of the people. When you vote for us, we will make great again,” he said during another mega rally in Kawambwa.

He said Zambians should vote out UPND on the basis of failing to deliver on their promises.

Mr Mundubile reiterated that his administration would not abolish free education but instead make it better by building more schools.

“The country I snow confused but we will bring it back to order once we are we are voted for. We once worked for government and served as Ministers. So, we are experienced,” he said.

Mr Mundubile claimed that UPND still had on its cards to get six million hectares of land from Luapula to be given to a foreign entity.

He said Zambians were capable of growing rice and wondered why a foreign entity could be called to grow the crop.

“UPND should go…by all means. They have brought more troubles than solutions but it is the people who have the power,” Mr Mundubile said.

And Sakwiba Sikota, State Counsel said he is from Western Province yet never a day was he beaten in Lusaka.

“UPND is actually campaigning for us as Pamodzi-Tonse Alliance by lying that people from other regions were beaten once they can to Lusaka,” Mr Sikota said.

And earlier, Mr Mundubile paid a courtesy call on Senior Chief Mushota of the Chishinga people of Kawambwa.

Mr Mundubile said his administration will accord chiefs the respect they deserve as was the case in the past.

He said his team has been traversing the country seeking votes from the electorate.

A huge crowd gathered at the palace of senior chief Mushota when word spread that Brian Mundubile was earmarked to pay a courtesy call on the traditional leader.

People were flashing the “Lampi,” symbol.

Other chiefs present were Mukanta, Mulundu, Chama, Lubunda, Katuta, Mwenya, among others.

“If Brian Mundubile fails to work like President Hakainde Hichilema has failed, we will also kick him out in a similar manner,” one supporter screamed.

Chief Mushota said founding President Kenneth Kaunda had a lot of regard for traditional leaders.

The traditional leader said it was important that those seeking public office should embrace all Zambians regardless of the region they come from or their social status.

Chishimba Kambwili in a fiery address alleged that UPND deliberately cancelled all the PF projects to paint the former governing party corrupt as has been the narrative.

“PF built six public universities yet UPND has done nothing but merely giving promises. PF borrowed much lower that what PF borrowed and so don’t trust his lies,” Mr Kambwili said.

He urged citizens to get upset with mismanagement of the country and appealed to Zambians to vote in large numbers because citizens have not forgotten the UPND lies.

Probably, Kawambwa is a hard ground hence the lamp being shown throughout the rally.

Makebi Zulu, definitely fired up, said President Hakainde Hichilema admitted that farmers were receiving farming inputs in medas (small buckets.)

“They have been lying to you and each time you remind UPND of their promises, you get arrested. UPND doesn’t care about people as long as long they are in power,” he said.
