Ballot Paper Printing Begins Today

THE printing of presidential ballot papers for the 2026 General Election will begin today in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro disclosed this to stakeholders who are in Dubai to observe the printing of ballot papers ahead of the August 13, polls.
According to ZNBC’s Jacqueline Siulemba, Mr. Kasaro said the Commission was satisfied that Al Ghurair, the company contracted to print the ballot papers, would carry out the assignment as required.
Mr Kasaro also said it was important for political parties to send representatives to observe the printing process in the interest of transparency.
Earlier, ECZ Vice-Chairperson Major General Vincent Mukanda (Retired), together with other stakeholders, toured the printing facility at Al Ghurair ahead of the commencement of the exercise. - ZNBC
