THE printing of presidential ballot papers has been completed by the Dubai based printing company in the United Arab Emirates, UAE.
ZANIS reports that a total of 9.1 million ballot papers have been printed by the firm with 8 million already serialised and packed according to districts.
The remaining 1.1 million will be finalised on Tuesday, July 06, 2026.
The printing of the presidential ballot papers started on June 30, 2026 with the company assuring the Zambian delegation, monitoring the on-going printing process, that it would complete the works within 5 days.
Meanwhile, Al Ghurair General Manager, Tukshmanan Garnapathy, said his company has since commenced the printing of National Assembly and Mayoral ballot papers alongside braille materials.
Mr Garnapathy said the company will continue printing ballot papers in the next two weeks.
“We are likely to finish the whole process in the next two weeks or so,” he said.
